Scheduled Reports are available on the Team, Pro, and Enterprise plans.
- Send a report to your users on a recurring schedule (daily, weekly, monthly) or as a one-off
- Deliver by email to specific users or a group, or post to a Slack channel
- Render the report shared (one view for everyone) or per recipient (each person sees their own data via row-level security)
- Let viewers subscribe themselves to a report they can access
- Track every run in a history view with status, trigger, and delivery results
Before you start
The report must be published before it can be scheduled. See Publishing for how to publish a project.Creating a schedule
You can create a schedule from three places:- From the editor. Open the schedule menu in the editor toolbar. The report you’re editing is used as the source automatically.
- From a published report. Open the schedule menu on a published page. Admins and developers get the full form; viewers get a simplified form to subscribe themselves (see Viewer self-subscriptions).
- From the Schedules page. Open Schedules in the sidebar and click New schedule. You’ll pick the project and page first.
Configuring a schedule
The schedule form walks through the following:- Destination — Email or Slack. Slack only appears when your organization has a connected Slack workspace.
- Recipients (email) — Specific users, or a group.
- Delivery — On a schedule (recurring) or Send now (one-off).
- Schedule — A friendly recurrence (daily, every weekday, weekly, or monthly), a time, and a timezone. Advanced schedules can use a custom cron expression.
- Format — Page orientation, margins, cards, page colors, and which sections to hide.
- Email — Subject line and an optional personal message that accompanies the report.
Delivery destinations
Slack
To post a report to Slack, your organization must have a Slack workspace connected under Settings → Integrations → Slack. Then:- Choose Slack as the destination.
- Select the channel to post to.
- Optionally add a custom message that accompanies the report.
Render modes
Shared
One runtime user’s view of the report is rendered and sent to all recipients. Choose which user’s data access to render with.Per recipient
Each recipient receives the report rendered with their own data access, filtered by row-level access control. This is email-only — Slack always uses a shared render.Viewer self-subscriptions
On a published report, viewers (non-admin roles) can subscribe themselves to a recurring schedule or send a one-off report to their own email. The report is rendered with their own data access, and only they receive it. Viewers can manage (pause, resume, delete) their own subscriptions from the schedule drawer.Managing schedules
The Schedules page lists every schedule in your organization with its name, schedule, next run, status, owner, and destination. From a schedule’s detail page you can:- Pause or resume the schedule
- Trigger an immediate run (bypasses the schedule)
- Delete the schedule (run history is preserved)
