# SQL Server

> SQL Server is Microsoft's enterprise relational database. Evidence syncs your SQL Server data automatically, keeping your reports up to date.

## Add New Connector

To add a SQL Server connector:

1. Select **Connectors** in the left sidebar and click "New Connector"
2. Select **SQL Server** from the list of connectors
3. Fill in the connection details below and click "Create Connector"
4. Select the schemas and tables you want to sync
5. Configure your sync schedule

## Connection Options

  The name of the database to connect to

  How to connect to your database
</ResponseField>

  How new, changed, and deleted rows are detected

  * **Zero Config**: Needs nothing enabled on your database — a read-only connection is enough. Limits: tables must be under 75 million rows, primary keys up to 100GB, and tables changing very quickly can fall back to a full sync instead of an incremental one.
  * **Change Tracking / CDC**: Requires Change Tracking (CT) or Change Data Capture (CDC) enabled on the database and on every table you want to sync. If both are enabled on a table, CDC is used.

  Automatically trust the server's SSL/TLS certificates. Enable this for cloud databases that use custom certificate authorities.

### SSH Tunnel Options

If using SSH Tunnel connection type:
